Tucked next to a pickleball court, The Club House Penang offers a cozy ambiance that pairs well with its diverse Western-style menu and a thoughtful selection of pastries and cakes. The space is inviting and comfortable, making it an ideal spot to linger a little longer than your average café. While the menu spans many favourites—think well-executed classics and dessert options—the pricing skews slightly higher than budget eateries. On the upside, parking is ample, which adds to its convenience.
Rialto Bridge Polo Mentaiko (Rm 28.90)
Creamy Pesto Risotto with Seafood (Rm 23.90)
Philippines Black Soy Chicken Bites (Rm 19.90)
For appetizer- we had the Philippines Black Soy Chicken Bites, basically Fried Chicken coated with sweet, Soy Sauce with a hint of Chili heat. It was good on its own and definitely good for sharing. For mains, we had the Pesto Risotto and Mentaiko Squid Ink Pasta. The former one turned out to be over seasoned and it was quite monotonous. The Pesto flavor did not stand out, there was basically nothing except the Prawns... we were hoping to see some bits of Squid or even Scallops. The Mentaiko Squid Ink Pasta was nothing out of the ordinary either, we were a little disappointed with the muted Mentaiko flavors. Fortunately, the Fried Chicken on the top was yum.
