Following our visit to Bangkok last Aug 2024, we've made another trip to the capital of Thailand again (taking advantage of the Eid holiday break). Urban Retreat @ Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road, Bangkok, Thailand.

Nestled in the heart of one of Bangkok’s most sophisticated neighborhoods, Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road offers a refreshing take on boutique luxury. With its bold design inspired by the city’s broadcasting heritage, the five-star property seamlessly blends local charm with contemporary elegance. Just a short walk from BTS Ploenchit and surrounded by embassies, office suites, shopping malls, and city landmarks, the hotel serves as an ideal base for both leisure and business travelers.

During my recent trip to Bangkok, I checked into Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road- and it turned out to be one of the highlights of the getaway. We were warmly welcomed since the moment we stepped in the hotel, seamless check-in process, comfortable-spacious room with full amenities, a pool with great view, 24-hour gym and strategic location!

Many Thanks to Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road for hosting us.

[Travel/ Food Guide] Itinerary to Bangkok, Thailand (曼谷,泰国) 2024

Bangkok is always a food haven for food lovers to explore, be it wallet-friendly local street food or premium Michelin-awarded restaurants... not to mention the shopping with easy access to international premium/local Thai brands as well as the rejuvenating Spa sessions. It is easy for Penangites to visit Bangkok too; Firefly has recently introduced their direct flights from Penang to Bangkok. We took advantage of this promotion (for the record- we managed to get our return flight tickets for less than RM300/pax) and the experience was great. The plane landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport instead of Don Mueang, offering easy accessibility to different networks.

[Travel/ Food Guide] Itinerary to Bangkok (曼谷), Thailand (泰国) 2018.

According to some travel websites, Bangkok topped as Malaysians' top 3 favorite destinations of the year... the metropolis and capital of Thailand remains attractive and popular due to its ever-evolving excitements and thrilling food scenes. Following our previous trip to Bangkok in 2015, we have managed to make another short trip there this October 2018. We chose to stay in Silom area instead of Pratunam (which we did in our previous trip), Silom area is relatively quieter but still buzzing with plenty of food outlets, bars and massage parlors. Transportation is never been easier with BTS (Bangkok Transit System) so no worries on which area you are staying, as long as you have a Rabbit Card (can be purchased at any BTS stations in Bangkok), you can hop on to any train to any destinations in the metropolis.

1) Maeklong Railway Market
Address: Muang Samut Songkhram District
Business Hours: 7 am to 4 pm. Opens Daily.
