Enjoy authentic and delicious Malay cuisine in a comfortable setting at Dulang- Citarasa Melayu, a fairly new Malay restaurant at Muntri Street... serving Dulang-style classic Malay dishes. Nestled in the Wooi Ning Wooi Koon building along Muntri Street, Dulang offers an extensive menu featuring many classic Malay dishes. Expect to pay slightly more but in return, you will get quality dishes that commensurate with the prices as well as a comfortable-cozy space to enjoy the meal. Do give this place a try if you enjoy quality food.

We started off with the fresh Ulam and Sambal, the variety of Ulam was rather limited but not complaining due to the price. We love the gentle Chili kick for the Sambal Belacan though, it worked well with any dishes/ rice. The Pajeri Nenas was surprisingly good- it has a good acidity and Chili punch. Young Pineapples were used- so the texture was still there, not overly mushy nor soft. The Curry was appetizing and has a great in depth of flavors. We also enjoyed the Ayam Masak Lemak Cili Api- expertly seasoned and the Chicken was beautifully cooked to fork-tender. The Curry seemed diluted at first but it packed a powerful punch. An acquired taste- Tempoyak Grilled Patin... pungent with a fermented acidity, the dish is not for everyone. We did not like it unfortunately, our untrained taste buds could not process the complex flavors. But it was a good attempt nevertheless.
