Nasi Lemak House @ Abu Siti Lane, Georgetown, Penang.

Nasi Lemak lovers should not miss Nasi Lemak House, a Nasi Lemak specialist that has been around for a little more than 2 years. Housed in one of the shop houses along Abu Siti Lane, Nasi Lemak House is often thronged with regular patrons during lunch hours. Finding a place to park at Abu Siti Lane is another challenge on its own. But the restaurant churns out really delicious curries and dishes to go with the Nasi Lemak; for those who prefer noodles, Nasi Lemak House offers Wan Ton Mee and Mee Sua too. Reasonable prices and good quality of food are some of the reasons why you should check this place out.

Stir Fried Clams

Wan Ton Mee (Rm 11.90)

Black Glutinous Rice Dessert (Rm 4.50)

The curries were very flavorful- we enjoyed the Sambal Petai a lot. The Petai was crunchy with a good nuttiness (not overcooked), the Sambal carried a sleek sweetness and spooned perfectly over rice. The Prawn-Cucumber curry was good too, though I was expecting something sweeter, it went well with the Nasi Lemak too. We've also had the Wan Ton Mee, which was very springy and expertly dressed with dark Soy sauce but a pity that the portion was very small. We also treated ourselves to a bowl of creamy Bee Koh Moy, it has the consistency with the right amount of sweetness but we would prefer some Dried Longan for the extra touch of flavor and bite... not complaining for Rm 4.50 though.
