Dragon-I @ Queensbay Mall, Penang

Located at lvl 2 queensbay mall , dragon-i restaurant has attracted a lot of its loyal customers over the years , they are famous of its fine shang hai cuisine and their superb services , long queue will be spotted over the weekends and luckily we got our place into the restaurant today and below are some of our attempts :

Dine in the restaurant with a minimum of 4 ppl , u are entitle to get the chicken at only RM1(whole bird) , the texture of the chicken was rather smooth and the skins were just superb , check out the shiny layer of the chicken skin ,lol

Crispy eel in secret sauce(rm16) , was damn crispy but i feel like chewing potato chips ,lol , the flavour that supposed to be found in eel had disappeared >.<

Shang Hai meat dumpling(xiao long bao,rm9) , the dumplings were damn juicy , and they were served scorching hot ,highly recommended ^^
Seafood ramen (rm18) , the texture of the ramen was just so so but the soup was superb , the seafood were fresh too , worth of trying

Chicken and mushroom steam rice (rm15) , the rice was kinda soft but the portion was rather small (for me though) , and its a little tasteless to me , too few soya sauce or salt perhaps =P
Seafood fried rice (rm16) , texture was awesome , seafood were fresh and the portion was kinda big , but i was expecting all of these since the price is kinda exp for a plate of fried rice x.X
Some oily braised pork(rm23) lol , works together with the small bun up there , no idea how it tastes like but i can tell that its kinda oily
Some ice blended mango desert(rm10) , was pretty refreshing and it isnt as sweet as u think , definitely worth of trying , but rm10 for an ice blended thingy is fatal T.T
The peanuts served before the arrival of ur orders , this small plate of cute peanuts will cost u rm 2....... X.X

There will be 5% govt tax and 10% service charge added to ur bill so do take note =)

Le Dynasty Dim Sum Restaurant @ Farlim, Penang

Hi ya folks , its been a really long time since my previous food post , been busying with my coll stuff , so this is a new dim sum outlet in farlim (right beside the new wing of sunshine farlim) and i think they just started their business 1 month ago or so , so its rather new , the dim sum we attempted were :

Prawn dumpling , by bitting into the prawns , u will know that they were damn fresh (crunchy texture)

Deep fried fishballs , taste was pretty decent , not too shabby XD

Steam Fishballs , i prefer this than the fried ones , the taste and texture is much better compared to the fried ones

Deep fried shrimp cake , same as above , the shrimps were fresh and deep frying the shrimp cake creates a very crispy texture , thumbs up =)

Another type of prawn dumpling

Chee Cheong Fun (Hong Kong style).....the soya sauce that comes with the chee cheong fun was damn tasty , it lights up the whole dish ^^
Steam pork belly , no idea how it tastes as i don take pork >.<

Le Dynasty is located in farlim , beside sunshine farlim supermarket , the price for those food was rather economical and the place was damn clean and neat , all tables and chairs were new , highly recommended for dim sum maniac ^^

Zealand bak kut teh &seafood restaurant @ Gurney Drive, Penang

Had brunch in this place , its located along gurney drive(beside corner club and carnation bak kut teh) , and they are famous of their seafood and fried noodles , here are the pics:

My all time favourite--Tom Yum seafood soup , the serving portion was damn big and its damn cheap(rm6).....was quite spicy and nt sour at all , in fact , the soup was kinda sweet ,seafood were fresh and the noodles were spongy =D

Stir fried bitter gourd (rm 8) , taste was ok i supposed , but a little bit salty for me
p/s : i hate bitter gourd , my mom ordered this T.T

This is their famous fried noodle (rm10 for 2 servings) , tastes decent , texture was quite good , but it doesnt seem to too special for me though
Steamed red snapper (rm44) , the fish was damn fresh and it was served when it was still scorching hot , cant resist it , best =)

The place was quite big but its kinda hot(no air con T.T) , price was reasonable and most importantly , their seafood are fresh =D

Nando's @ Queensbay mall, Penang

I think u can find Nando's in everywhere as its a franchise-restaurant if not mistaken , so in conjunction with my fren's Bday , we had a meal with him in this restaurant =) , tried on their famous chicken(a set meal that serves 4)and here are the pics :

I think they have a few tastes for their chicken , where u can order the extra-hot(lvl 4) or the lemon and herb marinated chicken(lvl1) , and we tried on the mild(lvl2) and hot(lvl3)...and it was that worse as wat i tot it will be....taste was pretty decent for a roasted chicken but not the price of coz X.X

Salad that comes together.....its just plain vege soaked in vinegar and olive oil......

A pretty common coleslaw....ntg much worth of mentioning

Fries that comes together as well , pretty decent , better than McD's i would say , in terms of fragrant-ness

Mediterranean rice that goes with the roasted chicken , i found this combination a bit weird as the rice is rather tasteless , moreover , i can get this combination everywhere with just rm3 or so (chicken rice from anywhere , lol)

I think this is wat they are selling/promoting.....their own chili sauce.....they comes with 4 tastes , garlic , tomato , hot chili , and extra hot chili.......was excited with the extra hot chili but kinda disappointing , its just too sour for me =(

A jug of ice lemon tea , it comes with the meal too but u need to add on for it and it costs us rm17....T.T

Its located at queensbay mall , lower ground and its just beside sushi king and opposite body glove outlet.......was quite expensive for chicken rice though
