Located in the Lembah Permai neighbourhood of Tanjung Bungah, Elsewhere is a French-Italian café bistro that centres around Galettes and Crêpes, supported by a small selection of mains and brunch-style plates. The setting is comfortable and easy-going, making it suitable for a relaxed dine-in experience, while food quality is consistently solid across the board. That said, prices lean more towards restaurant-level rather than typical café fare, positioning it as a slightly more elevated option within the neighbourhood.
Galettes are available until noon; we had Remy's Favorite which was basically Egg, Tomatoes, Eggplant and Feta Cheese. The Galettes are freshly made to order so it has the crisp edges with soft inside. Seasoning could be bolder or they could be more generous with the Feta Cheese. Overall, we thought it was decent. The Vongole scored better, the Pasta was expertly cooked with al-dente texture and the Clams were fresh. The seasoning was spot on while the acidity of Cherry Tomatoes offers a refreshing touch to the dish. We ended the meal with Crêpe Suzette... perfectly thin Crêpe topped with fresh Cream, a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream, Caramel sauce, fresh Oranges as well as flambeed liqueur. The flavor-combo was amazing, heightened by the alcohol touch. A must try for dessert lovers.
