The auspicious Dragon Year dining at Amari SPICE Penang starts from 9 February 2024 to 12 February 2024, featuring specially curated Chinese New Year buffet that honors tradition and festivities with every dish. Uniquely at Amaya Food Gallery (the buffet hall- level 4 of Amari SPICE Penang), lively Chinese traditional instruments and music will entertain guests during dinner with a contemporary repertoire of auspicious New Year songs.

Start the feast with an auspicious toss to usher in the majestic Year of Dragon, Amari SPICE Penang offers the "Make Your Own" Yee Sang with various condiments to choose from. Add on extra fresh, thickly sliced Salmon Sashimi for the prosperity touch. Apart from the Salmon Sashimi, guests can treat themselves with the Tuna Sashimi and Octopus slices as well as an array of Japanese Sushi Rolls. Seafood lovers will be spoilt for choices at the Seafood On Ice with plenty of fresh Seafood like Prawns, Bamboo Clams, Mussels, Slipper Lobsters, Oysters and Scallops etc. Equally interesting will be the Appetizers featuring Jelly Fish Salad, Japanese Octopus and Cucumber as well as Cheese/ Cold Cuts Platter that would please all age range.

There are plenty to look forward to when it comes to mains. The grill station features Roasted Duck, Beef, Lamb, Chicken Chop, Flower Crabs as well as Bamboo Clams. We recommend trying the Thai Seafood dip that goes perfectly well with the Seafood. For those who prefer traditional Chinese dishes, there will be classic Chinese stir fries as well. Otherwise, the Noodle station is good too if you prefer noodles over rice. Kids will be excited over the Pizza at the Pizza station, featuring at least 4 types of freshly baked Pizza.

Save some room for desserts as the hotel prepares a big variety of Chinese New Year-themed cakes and sweet treats. Familiar Chinese New Year snacks like Pineapple Tarts are available too. The Chocolate Fountain is a great addition to the usual spread and would work well with scoops of Ice Cream. Malaysians' favorite Bubur Cha Cha is also part of the buffet spread as well as classic Chinese treat- Chinese Pancake (Woh Peng) with Lotus Seeds White Fungus dessert.
