Cups & Co. Cafe @ Beach Street, Georgetown, Penang.

It's hard to notice Cups & Co. Cafe at Beach Street, the cafe has a rather unattractive entrance but even the interior is equally dull but fortunately the menu is not as bad as expected. It has the standard cafe menu, though not big, it does offer some solid offering. The Signature Breakfast comes in a generous portion with a big variety of items, though none of them disappoint, none of them impressed either. The Seafood Aglio Olio left us with a deeper impression- the Fettuccine was al-dentely cooked with reasonable seasoning and right Chili punch. Not so much on the ambiance but probably a place for a quick fix.

We were taken aback by the look of the Chef Salad which was heavily doused with Thousand Island sauce. It was pretty straight-forward and nothing overly exciting. The Signature Breakfast was not any better either, the items were lackluster and nothing out of the ordinary. In fact, we found some of the items were quite greasy. Fortunately, not all items were disappointing. The Seafood Aglio Olio was in fact, very good. The Fettucine was expertly cooked with al-dente texture and reasonably seasoned with a mild spicy punch.
