Pineyard Cafe @ Kampung Janda Baik, Pahang.

Probably one of the most hidden cafes in the whole peninsular Malaysia, Pineyard Cafe draws a great crowd especially on weekends. Many would travel far to this place just to be closer to nature and to recharge over delicious meals. The cafe is well hidden in a resort around 15 minute drive away from the entrance to Kampung Bukit Tinggi. The place is popular due to its serene views and its family-friendly menu; definitely a place worth checking out if you are having a vacation at Genting Highlands or in the vicinity of Bentong.

Big Breakfast (Rm 33)

Curry Pasta (Rm 26)

Almond Croissant (Rm 10) and Lemon Ginger Tea (Rm 12)

Though the menu features mostly Western dishes but there are a handful of local delights as well. We had the Big Breakfast, one of the most ordered items... its portion was big enough for 2 small eaters. The Egg was fixed to be Scrambled Egg and no, you don't get to choose even if you prefer Sunny Side up. The items were pretty standard except some of the fried Sweet Potatoes, none of them disappoint. We were excited to try their Curry Pasta- a dish with the local twist. It was basically Curry Noodles but with Fettucine replacing the usual noodles. Surprisingly, the combo worked well and the Curry sauce ticked all the boxes. For sweets, we had their Almond Croissant topped with a generous amount of Almond slices and filled with creamy Custard sauce.... which was surprisingly flaky, buttery and delicious.
