Hey JoJo Cafe @ Nibong Tebal, Penang.

A spate of new cafes have opened in Nibong Tebal and Hey JoJo Cafe is probably the easiest to locate for those who are not familiar with the town. The cafe is easily noticeable shortly after turning out from Jawi Toll, it occupies a prominent corner lot of the a newly developed commercial area. The aesthetically pleasing minimalist interior decor has attracted cafe hoppers' attention. The place is popular for its cakes but it has a main menu worth-checking out either.

Tom Yum Pasta (Rm 17.90)

Crab Meat Scrambled Egg Croissant (Rm 14.90)

We only had some of the mains and no desserts as we were planning to have them at some other cafes nearby. The Tom Yum Pasta was somewhat special, the sauce was served separately; though it possessed bold Tom Yum flavor... albeit a little on the sour side. The Spaghetti was expertly cooked and for the amount of Seafood given (Squid Ring and 2 huge Prawns), we thought the price was well-justified. Something lighter for a change, we also had Crab Meat Scrambled Egg Croissant- Scrambled Egg with some Crab Meat being sandwiched in a Croissant and dressed with Garlic Chili sauce. There was nothing wrong with the Scrambled Egg but we did not think it was appropriate to serve with Croissant. The Croissant absorbed the moist and the whole thing was mushy, we could not enjoy the flakiness of the Croissant anymore. Also, the way they serve the Chili sauce had us thinking that it was some Tomato paste but it turned out to be a burning hot Chili sauce.
