Mango Cha Cha @ Pavilion Mall, Kuala Lumpur.

I was having my 1-day trip to Kuala Lumpur few days ago and I happened to be in Pavilion Mall for some shopping and I came across this dessert shop named Mango Cha Cha. Mango Cha Cha is a Taiwanese based Franchised-dessert shop offering a range of Mango Desserts. The type of Mango they will be using is Irwin Mango, a type of Taiwan Mango which said to be smooth, sweet and flavorsome. Mango Cha Cha promotes healthy dessert where no preservatives nor additional Mango sugar syrup. It is not hard to locate Mango Cha Cha, its situated at Level 4 of Pavilion, right opposite to Chatime. Price is definitely on the higher side, taste-wise, let us see how it justifies...........

We had their Cha Cha (Rm 13.90), Mango Cha Cha Brown Sugar Shaved Ice was way too sweet to my liking, I remember asking the staff not to add too much of their Brown Sugar Syrup but somehow it turned out to be extremely sweet. Things turned out to be even worst when the Shaved Ice melts..... fortunately their Mangoes were good, with a hint of sourness get to slightly balance up the sweetness. Nevertheless, it was still too sweet for me. A rather failed dessert considering its sweetness.......

I would kiss the ground for this Snow (Rm 16.90), at least it was something I was looking for.... not that overly sweeten shaved ice..... The ice was in Mango flavor for this dessert and it was shaved till very smooth and light to my liking, perfectly complementing the Irwin Mangoes. The portion was rather big and should be good enough to serve two person too. If I were to come back, it would be just for this only, forget about their Brown Sugar Shaved Ice.

We were given a small container of Sea Salt. Instantly, I have decided to try it out, sprinkling some on top of my Shaved Ice and it turned out to be another unique flavor. I did not quite like the salty version of Mangoes but I guess it was okay for a try. Try it out too next time if you happen to have some salt and Mangoes!
