Yang Yang Cuisine has recently expanded its presence to Sunshine Central Mall Penang, bringing along its familiar array of Nyonya, Hainan, and Oriental delights. This latest branch continues the brand’s culinary tradition, offering a wide selection of comforting classics in a casual, family-friendly setting. Whether you're in the mood for fragrant Nasi Hainan, rich Peranakan curries, or simple stir-fries, the menu covers a good variety to cater to different palates.

Cucur Udang (Rm 11.90)

Nyonya Acar (Rm 9.90)

Signature Milky Soup (Rm 22.90)

Udang Nanas Rice Set (Rm 18.90)

Kapitan Chicken Rice Set (Rm 17.90)

Cendol (Rm 7.90)

We started with the Nyonya Acar and Cucur Udang. We must say that we enjoyed the Cucur Udang a lot- unbelievably crispy and light, worked perfectly well with the Satay-like Peanut sauce. The Nyonya Acar was alright and did not disappoint. On the mains, particularly the Rice Set; we had both Udang Nanas and Kapitan Chicken; the latter one fared slightly better but the Curry sauces were veering towards the sweeter side. Each Rice Set came with a small serving of sides like Stir Fried Jicama, Nyonya Acar and Sambal. For noodles- we had the Signature Milky Soup which was decent. Portion on the smaller side but they were quite generous with the Seafood toppings.
