New Thai restaurant for Thai food lovers to explore- GSH Thai Cuisine Cafe at Seang Teik Road Georgetown offers a Thai menu featuring Rice Set and Noodle options. Budget-watchers would be glad to know that a Rice Set here costs as low as RM9.90. The place is air-conditioned and could accommodate large groups. The only downside is the lack of parking space.

The signature Pad Krapow Rice lacked the quintessential aroma from the Thai Holy Basil. The seasoning was there but the Holy Basil element was missing. We were also quite disappointed the fact that the dish was not spicy at all. Likewise for the Tom Yum Prawn Siam Koay Teow- the flavor was there but the spicy-element was overly weak. Flavors were somewhat muted probably to suit the local taste buds but having a Thai meal without the chili punch is somewhat disappointing. On the dessert- the Mango Sticky Rice was not great either. The Sticky Rice felt a little too soft in texture and the Coconut Cream was too diluted to our liking.
