Tatt's Guy Restaurant @ Abu Siti Lane, Georgetown, Penang.

Tatt's Guy is one of the latest additions to Georgetown that you should not miss! Tucked in a corner of Abu Siti Lane, Tatt's Guy offers a Western menu featuring a mix of Western-European delights. Though not a big menu, it does feature some of the more well-known dishes suitable for age-range. The restaurant serves no pork (no lards) but does include alcohols in the seafood dishes. Prices are super wallet-friendly given the quality (with no extra surcharges), this is a place that you should not miss if you yearn for a good, quality Western meal.

We started off with Fresh Clams in White Wine Sauce served with 3 slices of well-toasted Sourdough; the Clams were super fresh with an amazingly sweet broth. We could taste the hint of White Wine in the broth and it worked well with the Sourdough. If we must nitpick, it may be slightly over seasoned on its own but perfectly okay with the Sourdough. For mains, we had both Prawn Rose Linguine and Guinness Beef Stew. We must say we enjoyed both very much. The Prawn Rose Linguine was expertly seasoned with a creamy texture. The Linguine was nicely cooked with al-dente texture, we did not feel overly surfeited with the cream sauce and thought it was a well-balanced dish. Same for the Guinness Beef Stew- beautifully cooked meat with fork-tender texture and creamy-soft mashed Potatoes. The Chef brilliantly added Alfalfa Sprouts as side, the bold vegetal flavor cuts through the greasiness and offered a refreshing dimension to the dish.
