Enjoy a taste of Italy with the handcrafted Panzerotti, a delicacy from Southern Italy. Luca's Panzerotti is possibly the one and only restaurant in Malaysia that specializes in this Italian street food. Available in classic fillings or creative variations; each Panzerotto is made freshly and guarantees a delightful experience that instantly transports you straight to the streets of Italy. The shop at Carnavon Lane is small and not suitable for a sit-down dining experience (more for take-outs or a quick fix).

We had 2 savory ones and 1 sweet Panzerotto; we started off with Luca, probably the signature dish here (the same name as the shop's name). With smoked Pomodoro, Mozzarella, Egg Plant and Basil; you can almost assure that you will get something very similar to Pizza. Close enough but the dough was super soft and fluffy, unlike Pizza. Imagine something similar to a freshly cooked Ham Chim Peng (Cantonese Fried Dough) but stuffed with Pizza toppings. Another one we had was Nonna- roasted Pumpkin with Mozzarella, Gorgonzola and Blue Cheese. I did not know Pumpkin could work so well with all these Cheeses. It turned out to be my favorite. It was quite an acquired taste for a start due to the pungent Cheeses but I seemed to have get used to it after the first bite. We ended with a sweet Crema and Cioccolato; quite a straight-forward combo with Egg Custard Cream and Chocolate. We seem to prefer savory ones over the sweet version.
