Guests are treated with plenty of Polish delights at the buffet spread- start with the various Polish appetizers like Smoked Salmon with Horseradish Cream or Marinated Trout, expertly concocted Horseradish Cream imparts a salty-creamy texture to the silky smooth Smoked Salmon. The adventurous can go for Beef Tartare with Egg Yolk Emulsion- brilliantly included pickled Cucumber for the touch of acidity and raw Onions to cut through the greasiness. There's also Duck Carpaccio for those who seek for more exotic flavor-combo.

Do not miss the Soup, proudly introduced by Chef Mariusz and Chef Marcin- the Sour Rye Soup with Lamb Sausage is a rare find. According to Jo Anna (Cultural Affairs and Public Diplomacy Officer of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kuala Lumpur), one can only find the Sour Rye Soup in 2 countries- either Austria or Poland; and of course, G Hotel Penang for now. It has a mellow sourness with rich, creamy texture... backed by the meaty bite from Lamb Sausage and earthy flavor from the Mushrooms.

Highly recommended by the Chefs, the Lamb Confit takes the team a lot of time to prepare (12 hours of preparation only for this dish) but of course, the cooking method itself consumes a lot of time. The end result is a tender, flavor-concentrated meat, best served with the Rosemary-Garlic sauce. Equally interesting is the Roast Salmon with Asparagus Veloute- unbelievably flaky meat topped with creamy, herbaceous cream sauce. For something very Polish, go for the Pierogi (Polish Dumplings), Beef Stroganoff with Drop Noodles (softer version of Gnocchi). My personal favorite goes to the Polish-style Cauliflower which has a buttery aroma topped with Bread Crumb brittle... one can taste the natural sweetness of the vegetables backed by the buttery aroma.

Don't leave the buffet without trying the Polish desserts. There are 3 key items you need to try: (i) Cheesecake- impossibly creamy with airy, crisp base, (ii) Apple Pie- Poland being one of the largest Apple producers in the world, you would expect the nation to churn out delicious Apple desserts and the Apple Pie is made from Polish Apples... crumbly with strong Apple aroma and a hint of refreshing Apple-sourness, lastly (iii) Meringue with Date Cream- extremely light but not cloying sweet Meringue served with Date Cream with a salty touch.
