Oh My Bingsu @ Victoria Street, Georgetown, Penang.

One of the latest spots to have an icy cold treat to beat the tropical heat would be Oh My Bingsu, the corner unit at the junction of Victoria Street and Malay Street. As suggested by the name, the dessert parlor specializes in serving Bingsu- Korean milk-based Shaved Ice. In addition to the signature Bingsu series, there is also Croffle series. Oh My Bingsu offers cozy seating with comfortable interior decor, the food is good too. Do check it out if you do enjoy a bowl of delicious Bingsu.

Thai Milk Tea Bingsu (Rm 24)

Niko Neko Matcha Croffle (Rm 19)

The Thai Milk Tea Bingsu seems to be a popular choice. To my surprise, the silky smooth Shaved Ice possessed a bold Milk Tea flavor. The sweetness was also beautifully balanced. We must say we enjoyed the Shaved Ice a lot. The toppings of Boba and Toast can be further improved though, probably something else for better texture (we did not like the Boba at all). We've also tried their Niko Neko Matcha Croffle and it did not disappoint. The Croffle possessed a slightly-sweet and buttery aroma, it worked perfectly well with the vegetal-bitterness of the Matcha. We were happy with both orders and looking forward to the next visit to try more.
