Leafy Lane @ Golden Triangle 2, Relau, Penang.

Looking for a guilt-free and tummy-satisfying meal? The classic Hawaiian dish- Poke Bowl is a good choice. It's versatile, rich in flavors and can be matched with different combos. One of the latest spots in Penang for a healthy meal is Leafy Lane, a new addition to Golden Triangle 2 at Relau. The place is a little hard to spot due to its location on the 3rd floor. You can find this place on the 3rd floor of Golden Triangle 2, 2 floors up from 99 Speedmart. Leafy Lane is not a full Poke Bowl-focused entity, their "bowl" series features some specially curated combos and various intriguing versions of the Poke Bowl.

Garlic Honey Chicken (Rm 22.80)

Salmon Sashimi Bowl (Rm 28.80)

Avocado Yogurt (Rm 14.90)

Lime Passion Fruit Tea (Rm 12.90)

The classic Salmon Sashimi Bowl is probably the only dish with raw Salmon Sashimi. We had ours with Mashed Potato, for the fun of it. No, it did not work. It works better with Rice. Leafy Lane's Salmon did not come marinated, so we were a little underwhelmed. But the rest of the combo was nicely done and full of textures with various types of crunchy vegetables and a subtle sweetness. We also had their Garlic Honey Chicken, which we thought it was better. The Garlic Honey Chicken was well-marinated and offered a nice meaty texture to the bed of greens. The Chili sauce added a nice and gentle heat to the dish, making it more multi-dimensional. For drinks, we had Avocado Yogurt and Lime Passion Fruit Tea.
