Nada Natural Farming @ Balik Pulau, Penang.

If you enjoy being surrounded by lush greens and serene neighborhood, check out Nada Natural Farming. The place has been gaining a lot of attention over social media- it's one of the attractions up at Balik Pulau where you can enjoy delicious food while immerse yourself in nature. The place is a little tricky to reach, you will definitely need a navigation system to aid you in reaching the place. The catch is the odd opening hours- it only opens on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays... from 3 pm. Be prepared for the heat though, the place is not air-conditioned; do embrace the sultry hot tropical heat especially during sunny days. Food-offering wise, the cafe has a Pasta menu with some small bites; price points seem to be on the higher side but commensurate with quality and serving portion.

Meatball Pasta (Rm 36)

Nutmeg, Apple and Lime Kefir (Rm 25/ 485ml)

Since we were there at 4 pm, the time was rather awkward for main. There were no desserts for afternoon tea treat so we opted to share for a portion of Meatball Pasta. The Tagliatelle was beautifully done with a slight al-dente texture but the winning formula was the perfectly concocted Tomato-based sauce. It has a strong Garlicky punch with a balanced medley sweet and sour notes as well as a sleek sweet Basil aroma. We enjoyed the Chicken Meatballs as well- the texture was firm and they were all well seasoned, there were some Cheeses in the middle of the Meatballs too. Our only complain was the dish being overly greasy.
