Code Thai Tom Yum Noodles has been around for quite a while... like its name suggested, the place specializes in dishing out Thai-noodles... available in different ways. Though the name mentions about Tom Yum Noodles, the place is not entirely about Tom Yum but include almost every popular Thai noodles... from Green Curry to Pad Thai to Boat Noodles; of course, the menu also extends to cover some Thai stir fries as well as Thai delicacies. Affordable price tags, comfortable-air conditioned dining space... not too shabby for a quick, casual yet sweat inducing Thai food experience.

We started with Som Tum Laos, a different approach to serving Som Tum... by introducing a rather odd, peculiar but strong Fish Sauce. We can barely taste the Mango... overshadowed by the Fish Sauce and this dish comes with a powerful Chili kick. Noodle-wise, the Green Curry Rice Noodles was pretty good, the consistency was spot on- not too thick nor diluted and the flavor was there. Boat Noodles was not too shabby either but something was missing and the flavor combo did not leave a very strong impression. Both Green Curry Rice Noodles and Boat Noodles did not come in a very big portion, in fact, we found them smaller than expected. Pad Thai on the other hand, comes in a generous serving. The flavor and seasoning was spot on, the texture of the Pad Thai noodles was good either, we enjoyed it very much.
