A sweet addition to Raja Uda is How R You Dessert Cafe- a homey, humble cafe that offers home-cooked desserts. Opened in late July 2019, the cafe has fast-become one of the busiest cafes in the neighborhood; not only that it offers rather unique sweet treats but healthy-options are also one of their selling points. All items are home-made and affordably priced... with seasonal items being rolled out from time to time. Definitely worth-checking out if you happen to be in the neighborhood.
Tofu Fah with Glutinous Rice Balls (Rm 5.50)
Tee Nya Kuih (Rm 6)
DIY Muachi (Rm 9)
Mango Sago with Glutinous Rice (Rm 7.50)
Warm option was Tofu Fah with Glutinous Rice Balls... silky smooth beancurd and chewy home-made Glutinous Rice Balls served with Brown Sugar; though it was not a very special combination, we thought it was nicely done. Cold sweet treat to combat the sultry hot weather would be Mango Sago with Glutinous Rice, a refreshing Mango puree served with a dash of Coconut Cream, Sago, Glutinous Rice and juicy Pomelo pulps. The combination speaks for itself and what we enjoyed about the dessert was the well-balanced sweetness. We also had the DIY Muachi, a piece of soft, gooey Glutinous Rice Flour served with Peanut bits and Sugar, as well as toasted Sesame Seeds. The fun was we needed to grind the Sesame Seeds ourselves. Lovely texture I must say.
