Previously known as Golden Shower, the place is re-branded as Beso Rosado. Helmed by their executive Chef- Chef Jack Yeap, the place sees some inspirations from his previous restaurant- El Faro Tapas Bar... offering a Mediterranean-influenced menu. Unlike the former Golden Shower, Beso Rosado has proper dining tables and offers better variety of food; the cocktail and drinks menu however, remains unchanged. It's more like a cozy space for diners to indulge in delicious Tapas while having a boozy sip on their cocktails. The interior decor remains as chic as ever... with everything painted in pink. Though the prices may seem a little steep, we were impressed with their friendly-attentive service and superior quality food.
Fish Taco (Rm 18/ 2 pieces)
Lamb Taco (Rm 22/ 2 pieces)
1/2 Roasted Moroccan Chicken (Rm 38)
Churros with Cinnamon Sugar and Chocolate Sauce (Rm 18)
For a start, we had Tacos- fish and lamb. We found the former one a little paled as compared to the latter choice; it was merely deep fried Snapper served with the quintessential Taco ingredients. Lamb was slightly more outstanding due to the use of braised Lamb... a slightly more powerful punch in terms of flavors. We were amazed by the quality of the 1/2 Roasted Moroccan Chicken... grilled to perfection and the skin was brushed with Balsamic reduction, slightly sweet but with a bitter end (due to the singed skin). The meat was fork-tender and perfectly good on its own but even better to enjoy with Sea Salt or a tangy Thai Green Chili dip. The meal-ender was Churros... fluffy inside and crisp outside but the Cinnamon flavor could be stronger. The Chocolate sauce was not as sweet as we would have thought (good for those who enjoy the Chocolate bitterness)... it was okay but not my favorite type of Churros. We enjoyed the meal with our choice of Wine- Mount Olympus Sauvignon Blanc 2018... a crisp-fruity White that went refreshingly well on the palate.

Actually this restaurant is very bad service. The manager actually told us 'Is my business not yours' when we asked them why they are not following SOP, thermometer broken and seats are all no marking and no social distancing.
ReplyDeleteSo I guess if you want to increase the chances of getting covic, you can eat there.
