Ristorante Porto Romano @ The Intermark, Kuala Lumpur.

There is no shortage of Italian/ Mediterranean restaurants in the heart of Kuala Lumpur city but Ristorante Porto Romano, one of the few restaurants under the group; the place is welcomed by the office workers working in the vicinity... for the quality food with inexpensive price tags (considering you are dining in a restaurant in KL city center). Though some websites online suggested that the place is a Mediterranean restaurant but both the menu and the name (Porto Romano) suggest otherwise (sounds pretty Italian to us). The menu features a wide options of Anti-Pasti, Pasta and Pizza. Great ambiance but the food was nothing out of the ordinary.

Mushroom Pizza (Rm 29)

Spaghetti Vongole (Rm 28)

Tiramisu (Rm 16)

Porto Romano's Vongole did not disappoint... the Spaghetti was al-dentely cooked and reasonably seasoned but the Seafood element was not bold enough... there was not barely a hint of White Wine, the overall dimension was flat... I'll probably get the same thing by visiting any other cafes (my expectations are higher for such renowned restaurant with Italian menu). The Pizza on the other hand, was alright but it was not something that 'wow' us either. We thought it was just standard average... not that it was bad but missing the 'x' factor.
