Olivia's Pasta & Pizza is a tiny neighborhood restaurant in the neighborhood of Batu Lanchang, offering a range of Western eats at relatively little bucks, particularly Pasta and Pizza... pitched perfect for local and wandering food explorers. Those staying in the vicinity can now crash tackle a plate of Pasta somewhere near home. The place boasts over a casual, intimating setting with a simple, classic menu featuring some Malaysians' favorite Western dishes. It will work for a casual meal but it does not seem like an ideal place for occasion. Olivia's Pasta & Pizza can be found behind CIMB Bank Batu Lanchang.
Italiano Pizza (Rm 20/ regular- original crust)
Cajun Seafood Pasta (Rm 20.80)
Olivia's Cajun Seafood Pasta did not disappoint. The cream-based sauce was multi-dimensional and carefully seasoned on the dot. It carried a hint of spiciness and backed by a handful of Pepper, Seafood was great but we thought the Fettuccine could be more al-dente. The Italiano Pizza paled when in comparison with the former dish, though the crust was okay, we thought they could be more generous with the toppings. The taste just did not shine... not that it was bad but it did not sweep our feet off the ground.

Looks good, not expensive too.
ReplyDeleteDo they make their own crust?
ReplyDeleteMenu seem rather extensive for a small cafe.
