[UPDATE] This place has since ceased its business operation.
Mee Tarik Warisan Asli does not come across as a convincing name but for the uninitiated, the brand has presence in many states in Malaysia. It was first started by a China Muslim and specializes in hand-pulled noodles with recipe originated from China. The brand has recently opened up a new branch at Queens Street of Queensbay Mall. The menu offers a great variety of Chinese dishes- not only noodles but rice dishes with an array of specialties as well. Visitors also get to witness the noodle-making process via the transparent window that connects to the kitchen. Generous portion, competitive price points and delicious broth, this place can be a casual dining spot to fill up the tummy or a quick fix before the next leg of your shopping journey.
Braised Beef Noodles (Rm 14.80)
Sliced Chicken Noodles (Rm 12.80)
The signature Beef Noodles was delicious, it was served to us piping hot. The broth was flavorful and multi-dimensional, it was delicately spiced with some spices that my untrained taste buds could not discerned. The meat was expertly cooked to fork-tender though we would prefer them to cut them in bigger size (we prefer the juicy bite). The noodles on the other hand, were smooth but less-bouncy. It was something out of our expectation as we were expecting the noodles to be bouncy and al-dente but they turned out to be the smooth and soft type of noodles (not exactly the texture we like but it was okay). For non-beef eaters, there is an option to replace beef with Chicken (in any dishes). The sliced Chicken Noodles impressed us with its meticulously seasoned, clean-tasting broth bursting with Chicken essence. We were not convinced with the bland color but we were proven wrong, it was in fact, very delicious; this is the type of food that I would yearn for during wet, rainy days. If you like your food with gentle chili kick, remember to ask for their special Chili Oil (complimentary).

Tried the one here, authentic chef from China...but unfortunately, it was rather disappointing. Never went back again.
