While the cafe scene in Sungai Petani may not be as happening as compared to Penang, there are still a handful of cafes that you might want to include in your list and Kinfolk X FKP is one of them. The popular spot has garnered an appreciate following since its opening and it bounds to serve you some of the most memorable sweet treats and Pizza. There are some seriously satisfying eats here, from breakfast items to Pizza, pastries to sweet treats. The cafe is housed in a gorgeous space in Village Mall, Sungai Petani; the interior features an open layout, community seating with sleek industrial vibe. The place may seem intimidating at first, with cramped tables and chairs but once you have tasted their food, you know you would make a come back.
Matcha Soufflé (Rm 20)

We were deeply impressed with Kinfolk X FKP's sweet offering, their Matcha Soufflé was well puffed and served with Matcha Soft Serve; albeit sweet, the combination was perfect for those with a sweet tooth. The light and frothy Soufflé texture coupled with bold vegetal Matcha flavor was most addictive, even better to go with the smooth, creamy and chilled Soft Serve. Bruxxels reminded us of Cronut, well-inflected in the shape of Waffle. The texture was crisp but flaky, lightly sweetened on the outside and served with a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream and fresh Fruits, lightly drizzled with syrup and garnished with Chocolate shavings. Everything was meticulously captured; all elements amalgamated perfectly without one overpowering each other.
Truffe Pizza (Rm 18)
Probably the most ordered items in Kinfolk X FKP are their wood-fired Pizza. We asked for recommendation and the server gladly suggested us to try their Truffe Pizza- thin crust and jeweled with a handful of sliced Mushrooms, drizzled with Truffle Oil. True enough, the Truffe Pizza was most delicious, the earthiness of the Mushroom stands out. The crust was crisp with fluffy-airy texture; the seasonings on the Italian flat bread was spot on.
