Located near to CIMB bank in Batu Lanchang, there's a very friendly restaurant that serves both western/oriental delights like chicken chop, lamb chop (western) to fried noodles in Hokkien Style (Hokkien Char), salted fish, tom yum fried rice. I am quite certain that the restaurant should be familiar to those who live or work around there. In Karen Kitchen, they serve healthy and quality food to their customers, they do not serve pork and no msg will be used too.
Udon-Miso Soup (Rm 7.50) If you prefer something light and not too oily, this miso soup udon might be your choice. The soup has a very thick miso flavour although they do not use any msg. Unlike some other miso soup which has no taste at all, prawns can be found inside the miso soup too, which I think the prawns were used to increase the sweetness and flavour in the soup.
Spicy Olio Spaghetti (Rm 12.50) A very delicious pasta with an affordable price, as spicy olio spaghetti is usually pretty pricey out there, the portion was okay, the texture of the spaghetti was kept to perfect and the amount of spices used was just nice. The spiciness was okay either, one of the special thing seen was the use of egg plant in this dish. Very unique and surprisingly it works well with the spaghetti. Highly recommended.
Ice Ginger Raw (Rm 1.80) and Chinese Tea Cold (Rm0.80) The drinks are pretty cheap here too, unlike some other western food outlets where their beverages come in a very expensive price.
