Frank Laurent is not the only cafe in Udini Square E-Gate, one of the latest addition would be Tee-Bar. The cafe occupies a prominent corner lot right next to the main entrance of the mall, it has been there for a few months but no mains/ food were offered and recently, they came out with a new menu. But we did not think the menu is a sturdy one, if there was one thing good enough to attract our attention, it would be their Cronuts (available in both sweet and savory versions). There's nothing unique about the interior decor... just a simple, cozy space suitable for a quick meal or to relax your shopping legs.

Cronut with Ice Cream (Rm 15.90)
We were new to savory Cronut, Tee-Bar's rendition comes with Sunny Side Up, sliver of Cheese, Ham and some greens. The Cronut was most flaky... halving it seemed to be tough and the pastry went all over the place. The Sunny Side Up was carefully cooked with flowing Egg Yolk, the entire concoction was delicious but less-substantial; suitable for snacks in lieu of a proper meal.
Another sweet variant, we had the same Cronut served with Chocolate Ice Cream. This version fared better and closer to our impression of how Cronut should taste like. The pastry skin remained flaky while the Chocolate Ice Cream introduced a chocolaty-dimension to the Cronut. It was delicious but we thought the Cronut was a tad too thin and flaky thus, affecting the overall texture. Not too sure if I would attempt again at the price of Rm 15.90.
