Just Caffe @ Green Hall, Georgetown, Penang.

At the end of Green Hall Road, there is a humble and no-frills cafe nestled within a commercial building, adjacent to Segi College Penang. Offering only their best, Just Caffe's menu is rather simple but limited. Foods are generally light and healthy, with a welcoming Western-influence. If you are contemplating on the menu wondering what to order, simply ask the friendly, eloquent young people manning the cafe, I am sure they are able to provide the right recommendations. The place, however, might not be too accommodating for larger groups as tables are rather limited. Nevertheless, its a good place for a cup of coffee and sandwich. Dishes are reasonably priced, a worth-visiting place if you are in the vicinity.

Panini is one of their specialties. Their hearty made-to-order Greenhall Guru Panini (Rm 12) is definitely a safe attempt. The stretchy globules of melted Cheese will surely whet up your appetite. Served hot, it was crispy on the outside, with an interesting choices of filling inside. It has some Grilled Chicken with slices of Tomatoes and finished with some Cheese. The magical mix of Tomatoes and Cheese will make you wondering as though you are having Pizza, even better with a crunchy crust of Panini. Yes, it was that good, a perfect brunch item.

Practicing low-carb diet? Go for their Beef Bacon & Ham Wrap at Rm 10. Fresh Capsicum, Lettuce, Ham swaddled in a blanket of soft flatbread and dressed with Mayonnaise. While not outstanding, it was a standard-satisfying attempt.

Their House Salad (Rm 10) is definitely perfect for the health-conscious in you. Loads of Fresh Greens dressed in a tantalizing Balsamic Vinegar dressing, topped with some Grilled Chicken and finished with sprinkles of Cheese Powders as well as Pickled Olives. It was good but it will be even better if they are able to drizzle more Balsamic Vinegar as I thought it was slightly inadequate but fortunately, the acerbic tinge of the Pickled Olives was able to provide the extra acidic tilt to the dish. I was impressed with the Grilled Chicken Breast, although they might be slightly too dry and rough in texture, but they were perfectly marinated and well-seasoned.

Grab yourself a cup of Coffee and their home-made Cookies will be just perfect for your afternoon tea. I had their White and Dark Chocolate Chip Cookie (Rm 3), it was sweet but not overly so, slightly chewy to the bite. Sink your teeth into the cookie and you will be welcomed with the copious amount of Chocolate Chips. A perfect item to complement a cup of Coffee.
