After school , went to fetch my mom and went to this restaurant for lunch......its located in sunway tunas ( quite near to giant hypermarket bayan baru )....so obviously with the restaurant's name.....u'll know they mainly serve teow chew dishes......but wat i found the real teow chew specialty is ' or nee' only....others are like quite common....so heres some pics :
Mee Suar Kow.....i believed this is 1 of the teow chew specialty......or not ??? Anyway , this is the best mee suar kow i had b4.....there are tons of seafood inside.....it works perfectly with some vinegar on it.....a very worth trying dish....price is rm10 per serving per person...
Mixed seafood beehun soup.....as i said....this is common.....but wat makes this beehun soup differs from others are their ingredients.....same as mee suar kow....they put in lots of seafood which makes the soup extremely sweet.....
The mango kerabu.....using sourish (unripened) mango and sprinkle some ikan bilis on it (some self-made sauce as well)....the taste is just perfect.....but this dish varies everyday , i mean the quality....its actually depending on the mango itself...sometimes its too raw or too ripen , will lead the kerabu towards too sweet or too sour.
Their baby octopus.....the texture was damn crunchy...taste perfectly good with the sauce on the left....not too spicy and not too sweet...everything is just nice =D....
I can conclude that almost every dish in this restaurant cost u rm10 ( I have no idea why they like this figure so much ) , ho chiak on 8tv also introduced this restaurant b4 ( in KL though )...anyway , this restaurant has service charge....so be careful when u are on a budget for lunch/dinner XD
