Utoo Boho Cafe @ Victoria Street, Georgetown, Penang.

Started its business operations on the very last day of 2021, Utoo Boho Cafe has quickly risen through the ranks and emerged as one of the most popular cafes in Georgetown. The cafe seems ordinary from outside but once you are in, the place exudes an extraordinary, unconventional vibe with Bohemian style interior decor- where you will see rattan goods, feather knick knacks around with sand and rocky road enticing guests from the entrance. As much as the interior decor impresses, the menu is small with limited food offering. Expect to see a small selection of sweet treats with no mains, more like a place to chill over drinks and desserts.

Matcha Custard Croissant (Rm 14)

Symphony N5 (Rm 22)

Pomegranate Oolong Tea (Rm 14)

Apart from the sweets, there was a few Croissant Sandwiches as well but the Matcha lover in us decided to go for the Matcha Custard Croissant which was pretty nice. The Matcha Custard Cream was expertly done and worked well with the Croissant, it would be even better if they could heat up the Croissant for the flakier, buttery texture. One of their best sellers- Symphony N5 was a rich chocolate concoction which consists of Valrhona chocolate, Raisins and Almonds; the middle part was like a piece of caramelized Almond bits which gave it an interesting bite. The Symphony N5 did not come cheap though... Rm 22 for one small piece.
