Boston Coffee @ Victoria Street, Georgetown, Penang.

One of the latest dining and hang-out destinations that has taken social media by a storm is Boston Coffee, a new cafe housed in a warehouse-like space with an industrial style interior decor. This latest spot can be found at Victoria Street, near to the junction to China Street. The exterior barely tells a thing about the cafe but once you have stepped inside, you will be amazed by the well-lit, chic interior decor. On the food offering, there's a Western menu with rather limited choices but the beverage list is extensive. The food menu is a little less-exciting for now but the place is still a great spot to hang out over a cup of drinks.

Garlic Butter Salmone (Rm 30)

Malus Chic Domestica (Rm 24)

Chocolate Croissant (Rm 9)

The main menu is pretty limited- with only mains available. We managed to try two dishes- Garlic Butter Salmone (Rm 30) and Malus Chic Domestica. The former one was basically fried Salmon served with Garlic sauce as well as a side of greens. The Salmon was overcooked and had a rough texture. The accompanying sauce with a mild spiciness was alright, the sides were nicely cooked either. A pretty normal-average dish. Malus Chic Domestica has a more interesting flavor combo- roast Chicken Thigh served with Apple sauce and a side of Deep Fried Apple as well as greens. Like the earlier dish, the Chicken was overcooked with a dry and rough texture. The flavor combo was something like Turkey with Cranberry sauce... sweet and savory. Not too bad but can be better.
