For many years now Steak Frites @ 23 has been the place to known for serving the best steak in town. Nestled in a traditional house right next to a boutique hotel along Love Lane, this steak house has some serious meat on the menu and it is the only thing that they can offer... but they focus in doing what they can offer the best. The one-dish menu has been doing them great though... many steak lovers flock to this place just to savor a hefty piece of their signature steak. Reasonable price and superior quality food... makes this place one of the only places left in town where an old-fashioned steakhouse meets the quality of modern techniques.

Steak Frites' meat comes in 2 servings- 150 grams or 200 grams... hefty piece of meat grilled over high temperature for a beautifully charred surface and tender yet flavorsome flesh, perfectly rested so that barely any meat juice escape. It is then served with a home-made creamy sauce and crispy Fries. The fats were beautifully rendered... leaving a layer of smoky, addictive char yet, not overcooking the meat. Effort was unnecessary to slit through the meat, every mouthful of the meat was full of satisfaction. Definitely the type of meat that I would miss in no time.
