More option for early risers as Tong Sui Po has expanded its business operations... covering breakfast and lunch. With a name like The Breakfast Shop, you would expect to see the localized Western breakfast (the classic, timeless combo like Sausage, Ham, Sunny Side Up and Toast) with an additional variety of noodle options as well as Toasts/ Sandwiches. Prices are fair but the choices might not be too attractive for some.
Fried Chicken Chop with Dry Noodles (Rm 12.90)
Fried Fish with Dry Noodles (Rm 12.90)
Hainanese Chicken Chop (Rm 13.90)
Bolognese Toast (Rm 7.90)
We did not feel like having the breakfast sets so naturally, the noodle dishes were our only option. We were expecting instant noodles (like Maggie, Cintan type of noodles if you know what I'm trying to tell) but it turned out to be the bouncier type (typically used in steamboat/ hot pot). The noodles were less-greasier as well. The noodles were well-seasoned and the Sunny Side Up was perfect. The Fried Fish was on the salty side and the Fried Chicken was disappointingly average... a little exotic and odd, but they seemed to have drizzle a little Dark Soy Sauce over the Chicken and Fish. Bolognese Toast was alright... it was something like Pizza save for the texture. We did not like the texture, the Toast turned soggy, it would be better if it can be crispier.
