Dear Dino Cafe @ Penang Road, Georgetown, Penang.

Conveniently located in the heart of Georgetown... along the bustling Penang Road, Dear Dino Cafe serves the Georgetown crowd with healthy treats like cold-pressed fruit juices, smoothie bowls and yogurt parfaits. You will need to pay a little attention to look for this new kid in town... the place does not carry eye-catching signage but once you have stepped inside, the modern simplicity sort of elegance will take your breath away; every corner offers a picturesque spot. But it does not necessarily offer healthy juices, the Fries are equally popular; though I'd skip on the Sandwiches and some of their Potato-dishes.

Let's Avocuddle (Rm 18)

Ballin On A Budget (Rm 18)

Sensational Twist (Rm 12)

We wanted something filling so their Sandwich was naturally our choice... we picked Let's Avocuddle.... Ham, Lettuce, Tomato served over Avocado-spread Toasts. It tasted as straight forward as it was... pretty bland and nothing out of the ordinary. A relief that the Toasts were not too dry. Ballin On A Budget was a total disaster... steamed Potato, Ham, Corns and melted Cheese served with diluted Tartar sauce-like dip. Not only we found the texture of the steamed Potato odd, the color was suspiciously darker than usual. The flavor combo did not work and we struggled to finish the dish.

A respite from the less-impressive dishes, the cold-pressed Juice... Sensational Twist (Watermelon, Lemon and Mint) was good. It was most refreshing with a gentle acidic punch and herbaceous Mint-flavor.
