There is always a spot for curries in every Malaysian and Fish Head Curry is one of the most favorite delicacies (as far as curries are concerned). Chee Wah's Curry Fish Head was once one the de-facto places to visit for Curry Fish Head (we are talking about 2-3 decades ago). At present, there are still regulars patronizing the place frequently, there is no menu available but most patrons here are for their Curry Fish Head. The proprietor has started its economy rice business so diners looking for variety may also opt for "extra order" from the spread. Reasonable price tags but not particularly impressive (as far as taste is concerned).
Curry Fish Head with extra Squid and Prawns added (Rm 110/ serves 3)
Served in a large claypot, Chee Wah's Curry Fish Head packed a flavorful punch. It has the quintessential Curry flavors with a tinge of sourness. We like the fact that the Curry was light and easy on the palate but we would prefer the spiciness to be bolder. The Fish Head, Squid and Prawns were firm and fresh; the scales on the Fish Head were thoroughly cleaned. We had ours with a plate of White Rice. Though we agree that it was a decent Curry Fish Head, we did not think it was that good and would want to go all the way out for it.

Bet you're missing all this. Always happens when I travel abroad - craving for all the nice stuff we have back home. We can just have that much of the western stuff, given a week or so, they all taste the same, the novelty wears off.
