Kwong Sang House (廣生洋服) @ Leith Street, Georgetown, Penang.

**Kwong Sang House has since ceased its business operation.**

Kwong Sang House (廣生洋服), a quaint themed restaurant which uses "tailor" as the theme for this restaurant. With some funky and quirky garments displayed and tailor tools adorned the walls; every single corner of this place has a photograph opportunity. Kwong Sang House serves Western food mainly- Pizza, Pasta and some Mains (only Chicken and Fish dishes) and all the dishes are reasonably priced. However, for some unknown reasons, Pizzas were not available during my visit and only certain types of Pasta dishes were available. The place tends to be thronged with crowd during weekends and seats are limited; with not more than 6 tables in total, diners are advised to make advance reservation to avoid disappointment.

Prawn Aglio Olio (Rm 16.90) and Asparagus Salmon (Rm 18.90) were the only 2 types of Pasta dishes available that day. I had Prawn Aglio Olio (Rm 16.90) instead of the latter one, the dish comes with 3 huge, fresh and succulent Prawns; heavily sprinkled with Italian Herbs. No doubt the Italian Herbs creates an alluring aroma but the Italian Herbs were slightly over-powering for me. Moreover, the Olives seem to be on the salty side on its own but work perfectly with the pasta. Fortunately, the  adequately sauteed pasta was cooked al-dente and reasonably seasoned, with a gentle heat from the Chili Flakes. Overall, this dish was good but not mind-blowing.

Another noteworthy choice would be their Fish in Oven (Rm 15.90) where the Fish fillet will be baked and served with Lemon Cream Cheese Sauce, further enlivened with a drench of some Blueberry/ Raspberry Jam for the hint of sweetness; placed elegantly on a bed of Mashed Potato. This well-executed dish comes with some fresh greens as side. I was thinking if this dish could be monotonous if one person were to finish it entirely but I was wrong, the cream was a well-balanced one; together with the lightly battered Fish fillet, it was lip-smacking. However, the Mashed Potato did not quite impress me though, it was way too buttery and heavy to my liking.

Iced Lemon Tea (Rm 4.90)
