Yellow House Sharing Cafe @ Relau, Penang.

When we were having our dinner at Hai Koay Teow Th’ng, we spotted this little café on 2^nd floor or the building. It is very unusual to see a café opening on 2^nd floor of the building in Penang and apparently, it is an office (Interior Design/ Art Gallery) cum café. The café owner Mr. Looi started his business few months ago, having a passion in coffee; he has decided to share with friends and clients about coffees. He gets so excited when his customers are interested in finding out more about his coffee. It might be a little hard to locate this café; it is situated at the same shop houses area as Hai Koay Teow Th’ng (opposite to PISA/SPICE or same row as Butter & Olive Bakery, Public Bank). Yellow House Café does not have much to offer but what they are providing is a place for gathering and meet up. They do serve some foods during weekends and Breakfast set on Sunday morning though.

Cucumber and Apple Juice (Rm 5.90) which said to be able to detoxify our bodies. Mr. Looi will only add honey to the fruit juice. I like the drink being simple and healthy. I can just sit there for a couple of hours enjoying my healthy drink to replenish myself.

I would presume their Iced Latte (Rm 7.50) to be okay since my friend did not complain about it.

On Friday nights, Yellow House Café will be doing promotion; with Rm 5.50, you get to order a hot coffee (from their menu) and get a slice of Plain Cheese Cake or Blueberry Cheese Cake. We had Vienna Coffee with Blueberry Cheese Cake, some Biscotti were served together with the Vienna Coffee. The Blueberry Cheese Cake was simply awesome, flavorful and cheesy enough to my liking but not overly sweeten by the Blueberry Jam. I’d recommend their Cheese Cakes.
