Million Loh Mee @ Farlim, Penang.

Loh Mee, direct translation would be Braised Noodles, a type of noodles topped with thick and flavorful gravy/broth. I am very particular when it comes to Loh Mee, it is either the broth is too watery or too thick to my liking, or the broth is too bland etc. I am a regular at one of the famous Loh Mee stalls in Jelutong area but now, I've found another place (which offers Loh Mee) which believe to be on par with it. Located at the shop houses at Farlim, Million Loh Mee not only serves Loh Mee, they do serve Koay Teow Th'ng, Pig's Trotter in Sweetened Vinegar and some Dim Sum dishes. Prices are very affordable and there are ample parking spaces available nearby.

Chicken Feet Loh Mee (Large- Rm 4.50) comes in a generous portion, which inclusive of some Pork Skin, Chicken Feet, Braised Eggs etc... The broth was not too thick nor it was too watery, just at the right thickness to my liking. It was flavorful and it complemented the noodles well. The Chicken Feet was braised till perfection, very soft and tender. However, the flavor from the Five-Spice Powder was not too over-powering and affects the overall taste of the broth.

One of the best things is customers are allowed to add any chopped Garlic and Chili Paste into their noodles freely. It offers more flexibility especially to chili lovers like me.
