Pho Vietz @ Queensbay Mall, Penang.

Ever since Pho Vietz's soft launching in early May 2019, the stream of visitors visiting the Vietnamese restaurant is a testament to the restaurant's reputation as one of the best places for Vietnamese dishes. With 6 branches well-established in Klang Valley, Pho Vietz is one of the largest Vietnamese chain in Malaysia; this new Penang branch at Queensbay Mall is the brand's first branch outside of Klang Valley. Vietnamese food lovers can expect classic street dishes like Pho, Banh Mi, Vietnamese Spring Rolls to be on the menu. Not only that the kitchen is helmed by Vietnamese head Chef but the raw ingredients are imported from Vietnam itself... to replicate the authentic Vietnamese flavors to as close as it gets.

Pho Vietz boasts an impressive Vietnamese menu, starting from the classic Vietnamese appetizers like Vietnamese Spring Rolls or steamed Flat Rice Rolls. Diners can have the Spring Rolls served crunchy-fresh or deep fried with a tawny-crisp skin, both are to be enjoyed with the quintessential Nuoc Cham (Vietnamese dipping sauces). Hardcore fans would not miss the Vietnamese Baguette and they would be glad to find that Pho Vietz offers a variety of Vietnamese-styled Baguette (Banh Mi), served with traditional meat filling and crunchy greens. The texture is as crispy as it gets on the outside and as airy as it should in on the inside; pretty much the same like those that you can find in Vietnam.

开胃小菜是吃越南菜少不了的一环而首当其冲的肯定是越式春卷;店家提供新鲜爽脆的春卷或油炸酥脆版本,搭配越式鱼露酱不但能提鲜也能解腻,甚至打开您的味蕾!不得不提的是店家的法包,完全采用越式烘培法,口感更能媲美越南当地的法包。馅料方面选用越南传统的肉类,腌菜及新鲜蔬菜来增添层次感,成就了外脆内软的口感;再搭配了少许越式酱料,绝对是个味蕾上的享受。

If you are those who after the rice noodle bowl, Pho Vietz gets this covered. The signature 4-Beef Combo Noodle Soup is a hearty serving of flavorful Beef broth bathing a generous serving of Beef Balls and Meat, completes with a handful of fresh Herbs and Sprouts. If you are not a fan of Beef for whatever reasons, the Vietnamese Pork Paste and Black Fungus Noodles and Vietnamese Pork Rib Noodle Soup are equally great options. 

越南国民料理- 越南河粉绝对是您错不了的选择。Pho Vietz 不仅提供牛肉,还有猪肉汤可选。话虽如此,最推荐的莫过于经典的越式牛肉河粉。用牛肉,牛骨费时熬制的汤头清甜之余,也不失其浓厚的牛肉味;粉嫩但扎实的牛肉也为此料理追加不少分数。

Also not to be missed would be their Braised Pork Belly with Coconut Juice Set... pockets of fatty, tender Pork Belly slowly cooked in Coconut Juice. It resembles the Asian flavors, particularly the presence of Coconut Juice, not only the fragrance but to impart a sleek, comfortable tropical sweetness to the dish. The Set is to be served with a bowl of rice, soup and a small plate of appetizers.

稍微有点异国风的是椰汁花腩套餐,在炖煮花腩时加入了椰汁为其增添亚洲风味当儿,也为花腩添补了少许鲜甜。吃得出肉香之余,也隐约品尝出椰汁若隐若现的痕迹。其咸甜参杂的酱汁非常下饭,店家也非常地贴心在套餐中为食客准备了解腻的小菜与暖胃的例汤。
