Gurney Plaza gets "quackier" with the opening of London Duck... a Duck specialist that offers a great variety of Chinese delights. The newly opened restaurant on third floor draws great crowd on the first opening week... partly due to its attractive opening promotion followed by its family-friendly Chinese menu. While the name might hint on its specialty, the menu is not quite Duck-focused. London Duck makes a fine family restaurant... regardless of your age group, there will be something suitable for you. Not exactly the best food around but given the comfortable dining space and family-friendly menu, the place is worth a look.

We had both Roast Duck and braised Soya Chicken; ironically, we found the latter choice more superior as compared to the earlier option. The flavor was bolder, it was the sweet-savory premium Soy sauce while the Duck was.... disappointingly average. We were not quite impressed with the absence of Chili dip as well. The Roast Meat with Noodles and Wan Ton Noodles on the other hand, were delicious.... springy noodles served with luscious barbecued Meat; a combination that speaks for itself. The Soy sauce was sweet and delectable while the meat was juicy-tender. The Dumplings were not shabby either; each completed with a huge piece of Shrimp in it. Skip the Sliced Fish Porridge though, bland and dull; we could find better Porridge somewhere else.
