iPho' Vietnamese Cuisine @ Fremantle, WA.

While I am very keen in digging out more decent food in Western Australia (but I can't really do this too frequently due to currency gap), I've came across this Vietnamese restaurant which situated at Fremantle, WA. From the famous Fremantle Markets, walk towards DOME and to the famous San Churos restaurant,  you should be able to see iPho's from San Churos. As mentioned, iPho' specializes in serving Vietnamese food and Vietnamese Beef Pho/Noodles is one of the most famous dishes among all Vietnamese dishes. Apart from the Pho/ Noodles, they do offer some other delicate entrees, salads, and some rice dishes as well. Price-wise, I'd say it was reasonable but the services provided to us were superb, they will eventually teach/guide you with the correct method of enjoying a bowl of Vietnamese Pho.

We had this Spicy Beef Noodles Soup/ Bun Bo Hue for Aud $13.50, it comes with a good portion, with a small plate of raw Bean Sprouts, some Cabbage, a slice of Lemon, some Thai Basil Leaves and some Lemon Grass Chili Flakes. The Rice Noodles were soaked in the thick Beef Broth, along with some Pork Trotters, Pork Cake Slices. The soup itself was flavorful and sweet but it was not too spicy (it does have a hint of spiciness but it might not be sufficient for most Malaysians) which we were told that the spiciness has been reduced to suit locals' taste buds. The Rice Noodles were something similar to the thick and fat rice noodles found in most Assam Laksa. We were also told that the correct way of enjoying this decent bowl of Spicy Beef Noodles, is to put all the ingredients given (condiments of Cabbage, Basil, Bean Sprouts etc) into the soup, with a touch of Lemon juice. If you are someone who prefers spicier Beef Noodles, you may opt to add in some of their Chili sauce and Sweet sauce (which will be given, if not, upon request) to spice things up.

Up next was their Rare Beef Noodle Soup/ Pho Tai (Aud $13) which had some sliced Rare Beef topped on the noodles with thick and rich Beef Broth (with side condiments of Bean Sprouts, Basil, Chilies and Lemon). The soup was clear, but thick and flavorful to my liking, the best part was, it was not oily at all. The soup was brilliantly level up by adding some refreshing Basil leaves and Lemon juice, which made the soup so refreshing yet palatable. However, extra marks will be given if the soup can be served hotter and more beef slices added. Other wise, I'd say that this was a decent Beef Pho.

I had a cup of Yeo's Chrysanthemum Tea for Aud $3, other wise, every table will receive a bottle of icy cold plain water for free.
